But I have to disagree. There’s no harm done when you are working alone in your feature branch and you want to force push to your own feature branch, where you are the sole author. By doing so, no one is getting out of synch. Not even when merging that feature branch back to the master branch.

I agree, I could have elaborated in my article in a little more detail. But it wasn’t essentially wrong. However, I disagree to the generalization that git force is bad practice. Some companies do it on a regular basis (on feature branches with one author, mind you).
